Four Corners

Four Corners

The four corners monument is a bit of a tourist trap.  Four Corners is on Navajo land and it is a $5.00 admission to go to the monument.  Basically the monument is a little sign in the ground that shows each of the 4 states where people go to get their photo taken.  As I have said before when you are going to get your photo taken and many people are waiting be ready and get it done quickly.  One girl put her legs and arms in different states and was upside down smiling at the camera and she was faster than some of the others.  There are Navajo shops around the outside of the monument selling Navajo wears.  If in the area, it is not a bad place to stop to say you did it but I would not make a special trip here.
