The number of National Parks is a constantly moving target. When I started the trip in 2019 there were 2 new parks added being Indiana Dunes and Gateway Arch. Now in 2021, we have a total of 62 parks with Great Sand Dunes being the latest park to convert. There is also a park being added to the list in New River Gorge which gives us a total of 63 parks. Great thing is I get to explore all these parks and the journey will never end. The links for the parks will take you to the park’s review page and some of the National Parks will have to be revisited, darn, as I did not keep track of trails and have the information for the reviews. Some of the parks I have visited on the “FlatSmokey” tour multiple times and/or stayed in multiple campgrounds so all of that information will be on the review page.
