I am overweight senior citizen who is using his expertise in logistics / supply chain / manufacturing to visit each of the 63 National Parks.
In my youth my father would take my brother, cousin and myself camping in State and National Parks. My father loved the outdoors and his love of the outdoors rubbed off on me as a child. I however left my love for the park system on the back burner while I was chasing the dream of making money and making my life better. Well 50 – 60 hour weeks working on the road prevented me from enjoying the great outdoors. I however retired in 2019 and decided I needed to get back to my roots and enjoy the National Park system.
At the start of my National Park “ tour” I wanted to have a friend with me so I created FlatSmokey along the lines of Flat Stanley.
