Pemaquid was chosen due to having a lighthouse the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. I stay at the Pemaquid Point Campground which is about one and a half miles away from the lighthouse. The campground was nice and quiet with space between the sites but the best part was the lack of people. Morning one of Pemaquid out to the lighthouse I went. I was out there with a gentleman from Corpus Cristi, TX and he was a photographer that owned a studio for 40 years. Ray and I took photos of the sunrise, not a great sunrise, but we also took photos in an area for over an hour. We did not take the same photos but just were in the same area. The other photographer was Ann, from Orlando, FL, who was a day early for her photography class/tour of Monhegan Island. I ended up taking photos for three hours on morning one and then went back to the campsite to have breakfast, take a nap and shower. I also went to the Marshall Point Lighthouse in Port Clyde, ME but it was nothing to right home about so I drove back to my campground. Morning two I was also up the sunrise and it was better than day one. I did not spend as much time shooting this day as the previous I think I shot the area pretty well.
